Training equipment needed to perform an effective football practice


The goal of any football coach is to lead effective training. Since there are typically 30-40 athletes training together, a huge challenge, even for the greatest coaches, is staying in sync, especially as training can move players to all parts of the field. . The key to staying organized during these vital hours is to use mobile training equipment. If you want to perform a best practice, make sure you always have the following equipment on hand.


These are fundamental in the business, so make sure you have over 100 of them in different sizes – small, medium, and large. You can use them to create a small field for technical training, for example change of direction drills such as S drill or Zigzag drill.


Line acceleration exercises for a powerful training of the hips and legs are the basis of athletic performance in football; and sleds are extremely effective for accelerating exercises. Agility ladders

The Agility Ladder is probably the most essential tool for improving agility, balance and coordination in the field. At the pro level, you will need four ladders to train. These are important for football speed training. A professional team needs around 40 mini-obstacles to work four lines of 10 players. Drills such as Run Strikes, Run Strides, and Run Throws should be performed during each workout to work on proper mechanics and technique in the field.


For balance training, I encourage the use of trampolines. You can mix technical entry and exit movements to create football-specific drills that are fundamental to stimulating the proprioceptive system and preventing injury. Usually four trampolines will work well.


Mats are important at the start and end of each session for core stability work like planks, bridges, and pillars, as well as for stretching and static mobility exercises. You will need one stack per player.
