Pools have unveiled Italian kit maker Errea as the club’s new supplier ahead of next season, ending their current three-year contract with O’Neills.

Pools, which has worked with manufacturers O’Neills since 2019, announced the partnership with Irish brand Sportswear in January as technical kit suppliers will not be renewed at the end of the current season.

Stephen Hobin, Pools COO, said in January: “We would like to express our thanks to O’Neills for their contribution to date in the manufacture and supply of first team and replica kits to Hartlepool United Football. Club.

“We believe now is the right time to move in a different direction to enable us to grow and to meet my wider business strategy and of course to provide the best possible service and product range to our supporters.

“We have some exciting projects coming up in the retail space and I look forward to announcing our new tech kit suppliers in due course.

“Again, thanks to O’Neills who delivered great kits under sometimes difficult circumstances.”

And that new supplier is Errea as Pools joins an elite line of clubs on board with the Italian firm, including Parma Calcio 1913, which featured prominently in the club’s promotional package when the deal was announced.

The deal means O’Neills, who brought back the blue and white stripes for Pools’ home shirts this season, will represent the club for the final time in next season’s final against Colchester United at the Suit Direct Stadium.
